The Swan Valley Stampeders are proud to announce that Jake Besnilian
has committed to play ACHA Division ll hockey for Weber State University
in Ogden, Utah, USA.
Besnilian, a solid two way forward, played a season and a half with
the Stampeders from 2017 until 2019. The 5’9” 180 lbs Whittier, CA, USA
native played in 92 games, collecting 9 goals and adding 20 assists
during his time in the Swan River valley.
“I’m ready and excited to further my education and hockey career at a
quality school,” said Besnilian. “I chose Weber State in Ogden, Utah
because the school provides an excellent educational opportunity to
pursue a career in business.”
The Stampeder organization continues to provide a very positive
atmosphere in Swan River, one that allows the players to stay focused
and committed to their long term goals of making it to the next level.
The entire Stampeder Organization would like to congratulate Jake on
his recent commitment to play ACHA Division ll hockey with the Weber
State Wildcats.
