Swan Valley swings deal with Flin Flon (SJHL)
The Swan Valley Stampeders have acquired 2000 blue liner Brady Morrison from the Flin Flon Bombers for futures.
The 6’1” 185 lbs right shot defenceman from Chilliwack, BC, split
last season between the Cowichan Valley Capitals of the BCHL and the
Flin Flon Bombers of the SJHL. Morrison dressed in 39 games between the
two clubs, picking up 3 assists.
“Morrison is a hard working defenceman and comes to the Stampeders
with lots of experience,” said Head Coach and General Manager Geoff
Grimwood. “We are looking forward to having Brady in our lineup for the upcoming season.”

Melville (SJHL) trades T. Shewchuk to Humboldt
The SJHL's Melville Millionaires have swung a deal with the Humboldt Broncos.
The Mils traded 2001-born forward and former #1 overall pick Tristan Shewchuk to the Broncos in exchange for a 2020 4th round pick and future considerations.
The Saskatoon product in his rookie season with the Mils had 10 goals, 10 assists for 20 points in 51 games

**The Melville Millionaires also shipped 1999-born F Mike Wong to the Swan Valley Stampeders for future considerations.
Wong had 6 points in 33 games with the Moneymen this past season
