Stampeders' F Dodd commits to Bryn Athyn College Lions (Division III) for 2020/21 season




The Swan Valley Stampeders of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League are proud to announce that forward Frazer Dodd has committed to play for the Bryn Athyn Lions. 

Located in Bryn Athyn Pennsylvania which is located in the suburbs, north of Philadelphia. They are a division 3 school that competes in the Colonial States Athletic Conference, (CSAC) They play their home games out of the Junge Ice Arena. 


Dodd a native of Hazelton B.C., brought high end compete and passion to the Stampeder Line up, In 46 regular season games, Dodd scored 19 goals, 17 assists and 22 penalty minutes, including In 3 playoff games, he added 3 goals and 1 assists, 2 penalty minutes before the playoffs came to a halt due to the coronavirus 



Dodd says "I am proud to announce my commitment to attend school and play hockey at Bryn Athyn College. I would like to thank my billets, coach’s, team mates, and the people of Swan River who made my last year of Junior Hockey a special one, I am looking forward to taking on the new hockey and school challenges for the up coming year. Again, I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the Swan Valley and have friends and memories that will last a life time. Finally a special thank you to Stampeder’s Coaches Barry Wolff, Suneil Karod and Darren Webster, for believing in me and helping me in my development as a player and a person."


Lion’s Head Coach Andrew Burke on Dodd’s commitment; "We are proud to welcome Frazer and his family to our program. Frazer was a pleasure to work with during the recruiting process. We are excited to add him into our line up as he has a knack for scoring and makes his team mates around him better. Frazer will make an immediate impact for us upfront as he can play in every situation and he will be given opportunities to preform in each of those situations next fall. "


Stampeder Head Coach/General Manager Barry Wolff –we are very happy for Frazer, and proud of him. This opportunity is well earned and deserved, the Lion’s Hockey team and Bryn Athyn College just got a whole lot better.
