Stampeders; Millionaires both drop overtime decisions on Sunday Night

 STAMPEDERS 4, KINGS 5 (OT) 

The Swan Valley Stampeders had their 6 game win streak snapped on Sunday night after a 5-4 overtime loss on the road to the Dauphin Kings. 

Roblin's Jakob Brook had 2 goals and 1 assist for Kings, including scoring the game winner in the extra period. 

Aidan Brook, Carter Zalischuk and former Stampeder Jamie Valentino also scored for the Kings, who got a 21 save performance from Marko Belak in the win. 

Trey Sauder, Justin Keck, Steven Arp and Darius Makse replied for the Stampeders, who now have points in 7 straight games. 

Loic Mainguy-Crepault made his first start for the Stamps in over a month and turned aside 31 of 35 shots. 

The Stampeders and Kings will once again meet on Friday night in Dauphin at Credit Union Place.

The Melville Millionaires let a 3-0 first period lead evaporate after a falling 5-4 in overtime to the Estevan Bruins. 

Mitch Kohner scored with the 18 seconds left in OT to give the Viterra division leaders the extra point. 

Owen Barrow, Kade Runke, Evan Forrest and Ilya Chmelevski also scored for the Bruins, while Louis-Frederic Theberge. Issac Suppin, Cooper Chisholm and Carter McKay replied for the Moneymen. 

The Millionaires' return to action on the road on Wednesday in Melfort against the Mustangs, in a game you can hear on GX94.
