Mils even series with 3-0 victory over Yorkton

The Melville Millionaires even up Best of 7 series at 2 games apiece with a 3-0 shutout victory over the Yorkton Terriers.

There was no goals scored in the opening period but Mils controlled the 1st and Terriers' goalie Dawson McAuley was outstanding for the Terriers in net.

Christian Magnus opened the scoring for the Mils in the 2nd with his 3rd goal of the playoffs to make it 1-0. Then in the final minute of the 2nd Sean Aschim would get a Powerplay goal to make it 2-0 Mils after 2.

The Mils would ice it half way through the 3rd when Magnus would get his 2nd of the night and 4th of the playoffs to make it 3-0.

Alex Wakaluk stopped 22 shots for his 1st playoff shutout while Dawson McAuley was very solid in the Terriers net stopping 34 shots. Kale Thomson played the last half for the Terriers stopping all 5 shots.

The Series is tied at 2 games apiece, Game 5 takes place Friday in Yorkton 7:20/7:30 on GX94.

  3. ya the terriers looks like they dont want to play anymore hockey.they just dont care i guess keep playing like they did the last to games and they dont have to worry about playing hockey for this season.

  4. Did the Tdogs play that bad. I couldnt get to game last night and absolutely cannot stand listening to Benny on the radio!

  5. The doggies need a win Friday, may as well keep playing hockey since the golf course wont be open til July.
    Dont hate on Benny, I think he does a good job. He could stand to expand the vocabulary a bit, maybe a few less "down low"s. Must win at home dogs, bring it on.
