Terriers beat Bruins 2-1 to take 3-1 Series lead

The Yorkton Terriers put a very solid effort together as they beat the Estevan Bruins 2-1 to take a 3-1 Series lead.

The first goal of the hockey game came with just over 3 minutes remaining the 1st as Brady Norrish would go end to end for a highlight reel goal for his 1st of the playoffs to make 1-0.

The 2nd period would produce no goals but glorious chances both ways and also a Terrier goal which was called back due to penalty to the Terriers.

In the third the Bruins would even it up early as Wyatt Garagan would rip a loose luck short side on Dawson McAuley for his 1st to make 1-1. But with just 6:16 remaining on the clock Tyler Giebel would finish off a nice play and put it shelf on Curtis Martinu for his 1st of the playoffs and the game winner to make it a 2-1 Terrier final.

Dawson McAuley would stop 28 of 29 shots for the victory while Martinu who was outstanding stopped 34 shots in a losing cause.

The Terriers up 3-1 will look to clinch on Saturday night back at the FAA. Pregame 7:20, PXP 7:30 on GX94.
