Analysis:

It will be just over a month since these teams last matchup back on Feb 2nd when they meet each other on Saturday for Game 1. The OCN Blizzard have beaten the Stampeders 5 out of the 8 times they have played including the 1st 2 and last 3 meetings these two teams met up. The Blizzard started the season on a very, very high note leading the league and Sherwood Division for most of the MJHL season before being overcome by a very good Dauphin Kings team. The 'Blizz 2nd half of the season was definately not as good as their first but still ended the season with a very solid record and 2nd place finish in the division. The Stamps while during the season have had stretches that made them look like one of the best teams in the league, including a 9 game winning streak earlier in the season when they acquired 20 year old goalie Landon Noel from the Summerside Capitals (RBC Hosts) who has been fantastic since becoming a Stamp. Goaltending could be a big story in this series as the teams both sport very good goaltenders in Noel and Blizzard goalie Justin McDonald who I'm sure will carry the load for both clubs. On the backend, the Stamps will need a big series from 19 year old Riley Hiebert who has had some injury trouble throughout the season but looks like he is finding his stride and also MJHL Rookie of the Year finalish 17 year old dman Garret Johnston will also need to provide some offence from the backend. OCN on the other hand are led on the backend by 20 year old Nathan Bruyere who chipped in with 17 goals from the defence and will be one of the leaders especially on the PP. Up front, it looks like the line of Reimer, Smart, and Valentino is finally coming into their own after being reunited back together, while Jordan Neduzak, Dylan Favell, Colin Baudry and Max Flanagan have also chipped in with their fair share of the offence.  The problem for the Stamps has been the injury bug as  the likes of Dylan Favell and Colin Baudry have been out and their status for the series is still up in the air. The OCN Blizzard forwards are led by their leading scorer Tyler Grove who ended off as the teams leading scorer with 25 goals and 57 points during the season but captain TJ Constant and Wilson Dumais, who just returned back to the team also chip in with the Blizzard offence.
