Analysis:
From the regular season matchup between these two teams, the Melville Millionaires would be favorite coming into this series. The Mils won 5 of 6 meetings between these two teams and are coming into the playoffs having recorded a point in their last 11 games of the regular season while the Notre Dame Hounds only have won 2 of their last 10 games to end off the regular season. Between the pipes,  the Mils are led by SJHL MVP Alex Wakaluk in goal who has been fantastic for the Mils all season long and is one of the reason the Mils are as high as they were in the standings and his 5 shutouts rank among the league's best while Kyle Baumgardner who has started 2 games this season recording a shutout in one of those appearances. The Hounds in goal counter with Ty Reichenbach who has been solid in their goal having recorded 3 shutouts this season while backing him up is a 20 year old who has WHL experience in Michael Salmon. On the backend, the Hounds may have one of the deepest and most experienced cores in the SJHL with a total of 5 20 year olds on the backend (Murray, Johnson, Brisebois, Boucher, and Grolla) while the Millionaires are led on the backend by 20 year old Brennan Ritchie who has 16 points in 25 games since arriving from La Ronge in late November and 19 year old rookie Zack Simpson has had a very solid 1st season as a Millionaire as well. Up front, no team might have more scorers in the Top 20 then the Melville Millionaires led by the leagues top 2 scorers in the SJHL Player of the Year in Ian McNulty with 69 points followed by 19 year old Russell Trudeau with 68 points while the Hounds up front are led by the #3 in the SJHL in Brandon Millin who ended off the season with 28G and 57 points while rookie of the Year Finalist Sam Aulie and Dion Antisin have also chipped in for the Hounds Offence.
