Mayes' OT winner helps Terriers snap slide with home win over Kindersley

 KLIPPERS 1, TERRIERS 2 (OT) 

Dalton Mayes' OT winner half-way through the extra period helped the Yorkton Terriers snap their 3 game losing skid, with a 2-1 victory over the visiting Kindersley Klippers. 


Logan Cox opened the scoring for the Klippers in the 2nd before rookie Dylan Ruptash scored his team-leading 10th of the season for the Terriers to even it up in the third to force overtime.


Terriers' G Caleb Allen made 27 saves on 28 shots to earn the win, while Cody Jaman turned aside 28 shots in the losing cause. 

The Terriers' return to action Friday taking on the same Klippers, while Kindersley continues their 5 game trip tonight (Wed) in Melville against the Millionaires.

Nolan Grier scored the game winning goal with 2:56 left in regulation to lead the Waywayseecappo Wolverines to a 3-2 win over the Neepawa Titans at the Yellowhead Center. 

Ben Roulette and Caden Carlson also scored the Wolverines, while Tresor Wotton made 36 saves to earn the victory in goal. 

Ewan Poirier and Parker Korman replied for the Titans. 

The Wolverines' return to action on Sunday visiting the Winnipeg Freeze.
