Cassan & Canada West into Semi- Finals at World Junior A Challenge

Team Canada West just completed their pool play at the 2013 World Junior A Challenge in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia after a 4-3 win on Monday against Switzerland and 4-1 victory yesterday over the Czech Republic. They have earned a bye right into the Semi-Finals with their opponent still to be determined.

I caught up with Trent earlier today about their two victories and about the experience at the Internation event.

MEANTIME, TRENTS ASST COACH IN YORKTON, CASEY O BRIEN WAS ALSO AWAY AS HE JUST RETURNED OVER THE WEEKEND FROM THE WESTERN CANADA U16 CHALLENGE CUP WHERE HE WAS AN ASST COACH WITH TEAM SASKATCHEWAN.

TEAM SASKATCHEWAN ENDED THE ROUND ROBIN, 0-3 AND THEN FELL IN THE BRONZE MEDAL GAME TO TEAM MANITOBA.

CASEY O'BRIEN REFLECTS ON THE EXPERIENCE AND PREVIEWS UPCOMING ROAD TRIP WITH TERRIERS, WHICH INCLUDES TWO GAMES IN LA RONGE TOMORROW AND FRIDAY.
