Saturday Night Recap

The Melville Millionaires won their 2nd straight as they defeated Weyburn 5-2. 

Allen Kilback score 2 more goals, 5 in as many games for the Mils while Simon Genereux, Brady Constant, and Landon Farrell also scored for the Mils. 

Isaiah Plett turned aside 21 shots for the win.

The Mils will return to action on Tuesday when they host the Estevan Bruins. Pregame 7:20, PXP at 7:30 on GX94. 
The Yorkton Terriers lost in Melfort but they did get a point as they fell 4-3 in the shootout.

Brett Boehm, Tayler Thompson and Holden Cronin (1st SJHL goal) scored for the Terriers. 

Kale Thomson stopped 26 shots in the loss. 

The Terriers now with a game in hand and are a point ahead of the Millionaires for first in the Viterra division and SJHL 

The Terriers host the Weyburn Red Wings on Thursday at the FAA. Pregame 7:20, PXP at 7:30 on GX94. 

In the MJHL

The Swan Valley Stampeders had their 3 game win streak snapped as they were doubled 4-2 by the Dauphin kings. 

Max Flanagan with his team leading 35th goal and BJ Avery scored for the Stamps. 

Graham Hunt stopped 42 shots in a losing cause. 

The Stamps return back to the road on Tuesday when they visit the Virden Oil Capitals at 730.
