Dauphin Kings become 2022 MJHL Champions


                           


For the first time in 12 years, the Dauphin Kings have been crowned Manitoba Junior Hockey League champions.

Roblin's Brayden Dube score the game winning goal for the Kings with 8:27 left in regulation, to lead the Kings to a 2-1 Game 7 victory over the Steinbach Pistons on Wednesday night.

Dawson Milliken (STE) and Logan Calder (DAU) exchanged goals earlier in the game.

Carson Cherepak made 34 saves on 35 shots to lead the Kings, who'll now represent the MJHL at the 2022 Centennial Cup which starts on May 19th in Estevan, SK.
