Yorkton product Ryder Korczak has signed his first contract in the National Hockey League.
The 19 year old signed his 3 year entry-level deal with the New York Rangers.
Korczak, who was drafted by the Rangers in the 3rd round, 75th overall in the 2021 NHL Draft, compiled 79 points in 68 games which was good for 18th overall in WHL regular season scoring.
Currently in the 2022 WHL playoffs, he has 5 points in 5 games for the Warriors, who'll kick off their round 2 on Friday night visiting the top-ranked Winnipeg Ice
