Dyke's 26 save shutout powers Millionaires to road victory over Nipawin

The Melville Millionaires earned their 22nd win of the year on Wednesday night after a 3-0 decision over the Nipawin Hawks.

The Mils for the 18th time this season got the opening goal as after a scramble in front it would be Bradley Banach extending his point streak to 9 games, tapping home his 10th of the season to make 1-0 Moneymen just 6:55 into the 1st.

Caden Drury make it 2-0 less than three minutes later as he took a nice feed from Jadon Iyogun & tucked home his 13th of the campaign to give his team a two goal advantage through 20 minutes.

Shots 9-8 Nipawin after 1 period.

After a scoreless 2nd, the Millionaires notched the lone marker in the 3rd as Luc Bydal hit the empty net with 2:08 remaining to ice it.

20 year old William Dyke turned aside all 26 shots he faced for his 2nd shutout of the season, while Hawks netminder Tyson Endal made 19 saves in the loss.

The Moneymen return to action on Saturday hosting the La Ronge Ice Wolves for a start of a back to back while the Hawks host the Kindersley Klippers.
