TERRIERS 3, MILLIONAIRES 6
The Melville Millionaires prevailed in the 5th Highway 10 battle of the season beating the Yorkton Terriers 6-3 on Friday night.
The Millionaires got off to a quick start with three goals in the 1st as Jadon Iyogun, Caden Drury and Bradley Banach twinkled the twine to give the Mils a 3-0 lead after 1 period.
Aiden Knutson and Anthony Domina gave the Terriers some life in 2nd with 2 quick goals to make it a one goal game.
The Mils regained their two goal lead when Caden Drury notched his second of the night with 9 seconds left before Terrier F Tate Schofer cut their deficit within one with just 0.9 seconds left in the period.
But that's as close as the Terriers would get as Luc Bydal and the hat-trick goal from Drury pushed the Moneymen to the two points.
William Dyke made 24 stops on 27 shots to earn the victory in Mils goal while Terrier starter Adam Kelly started making 3 saves on 4 shots before leaving with an injury while Ethan Farrow made 25 saves in the losing cause.
The two teams will meet once again in Yorkton on Saturday night afternoon.
