Terriers' eliminated from SJHL playoff contention after home loss to Nipawin on Tuesday

 HAWKS 5, TERRIERS 2

The Yorkton Terriers had their hopes for a SJHL playoff spot officially dashed on Tuesday night, dropping a 5-2 home decision to the Nipawin Hawks.

Artem Hrabovetski & Mark Lafleur each chipped in with 1G 1A to lead the Hawks offensively while Evan Forrest's goal in the 2nd period stood up to be the game winner.

Jaron Desnoyers & Tommy Chunchukov replied for the Terriers.

Tyson Endall was solid making 34 saves for the Hawks in the win, while Terrier netminder Ethan Farrow made 24 saves on 29 shots in the losing cause.

With the loss, the Terriers have been eliminated from playoff contention and they'll wrap up their season with a home & home series starting next Friday in Melville.
