McAuley nets 3rd shutout in a row as Terriers defeat Red Wings on Wednesday

Dawson McAuley got his 3rd consecutive shutout as the Yorkton Terriers defeated the Weyburn Red Wings 4-0 on Wednesday night.

Patrick Martens opened the scoring 2:55 in the 1st with his 20th of the season to make it 1-0 Yorkton after 1.

The Terriers would get the next 3 goals including two goals 19 seconds apart as Martens would get his 2nd of game and 21st goal, while Tayler Thompson (10th) and Jeremy Johnson (22nd) would get the others.

The Terriers with the win move into the SJHL lead , one point ahead of the Humboldt Broncos.

Yorkton will return to action on Friday when they host the Notre Dame Hounds 7:30 FAA

The Swan Valley Stampeders got shutout by the Dauphin Kings on Wednesday 5-0.

They Will look to get back in win column on Saturday when they visit the OCN Blizzard.
