Terriers' O'Brien named to Team Sask Male U-16 Hockey Coaching Staff


Saskatchewan Hockey has announced its coaching staff for Team Sask Male U-16 Hockey Team and Yorkton Terriers Assistant Coach Casey O'Brien (pictured above)  was named as an Assistant Coach for the team.

O'Brien has just completed his 2nd season with the Terriers, which included winning the Canalta Cup as the SJHL Champion this past season. Prior to his time with the Terriers he coach at Banff Hockey Academy, and played in various Pro leagues and in the CIS ranks.

The rest of the coaching staff includes the Head Coach Del Pedrick, fellow Assistant Coach & Former Yorkton Terrier Trevor Weisgerber, Video Coach Chris Jacobson, and Goalie Coach Travis Harrington.

The Team Saskatchewan U-16 team will compete at the Western Branch Challenge October 31st- November 3rd in Calgary, Alberta.
