Stamps get shutout in Portage

The Swan Valley Stampeders were playing their 3rd game in three nights and you could tell as they fell 6-0 to the hometown Portage Terriers on Sunday night.

Zack Waldvogel chipped in with the first 2 goals for the Terriers and he also added 2 assists to the lead the way while Brent Wold also had 2 goals and an assist while Craig Sigvaldsson and Johl Swedlo also scored for the Terriers.

Terriers goalie Adam Iwan was the difference stopping all 38 shots he faced in the net for the shutout while Nathan Armstrong stopped 30 of 36 shots in a losing cause.

The Stamps will return to action on Friday when they host the Wayway Wolverines 7:30 Centennial Arena in Swan River. Gx94 will broadcast the game on Friday starting with the Pregame at 7:20
