The Swan Valley Stampeders finished the hockey game with only 15 skaters and played right with the 4th ranked team in the nation but they lost their 4th straight a 4-2 decision to Dauphin.
Jagger Thomas opened the scoring for the game on the PP for the Stamps to make it 1-0 but the Kings would get their own powerplay goal as Daulton Siwak put it home to make it 1-1 after 1 period.
The Stamps would regain their 1 goal lead as Captain Dylan Reimer would get his 20th goal of the season on the PP to make it 2-1. But Jesse Sinatynski and the Kings would get even with a powerplay once again as he would get his league leading 39th goal to make it 2-2. Then with just under 3 minutes left in the 2nd Jon Gaudet would give the Kings their first lead of the game as he ripped a slapper past goalie Landon Noel to make it 3-2 Kings after 40 minutes.
The teams would go back and forth in third in a very entertaining period, but the lone goal would be an empty netter by Siwak with only 1 seconds remaining to give Dauphin a 4-2 victory and their 16th straight win.
Jeremy Pominville stopped 22 shots for the win, while Stamps goalie Landon Noel was absolutely fantastic stopping 48 of 51 shots in a losing cause.
The Stamps will continue their 3 in 3 on Saturday when they host the Virden Oil Capitals at 7:30 at the Centennial Arena.
