For the 2nd straight year the Flin Flon Bombers will play in the SJHL's championship series.
The
Bombers blanked the Nipawin Hawks last night (Tues) 3-0 in Game 7 of
their Semi-Final match-up at the Whitney Forum to erase their 3-1 series
deficit
Brenden Newton made 36 saves in goal for his 1st shutout
of the playoffs while Nate Hooper (2) and Jason Lavallee provided the
offence for the Bombers.
They'll now advance on to take on the
Battlefords North Stars in the Canalta Cup Final which will get going
this weekend in the Battlefords. The North Stars advanced to the Final
with a 4 game Semi-finals sweep of the Estevan Bruins.
