Waywayseecappo Wolverines (MJHL) searching for new Hockey Operations staff



The Wayway Wolverines are looking for a new hockey operations staff for the 2017/18 hockey season.

The MJHL club have announced they have relieved the duties of long-time Head Coach/GM Barry Butler after 17 of the 19 seasons of teams existence being in that position.

The teams' press release says "that the Wolverines are in restructure, rebuild, rebrand mode and are searching for staff who will embrace change, recognize the challenge, and enthusiastically lead the club, on and off the ice to success.

During his tenure with the Wolverines, Butler compiled a record 357-551-15-67 while qualifying 8 times for the MJHL postseason.

The Wolverines are already in the process of finding a new Head Coach, Asst. GM & General Manager:

**The Waywayseecappo Wolverines Jr. A Hockey Club are accepting resumes for the position of a Head Coach and for the position of Assistant General Manager. The candidate must be willing to contribute to the overall direction of the hockey club and have a strong desire to be a part of the rebranding and restructuring of our hockey operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong hockey background.  Demonstrate leadership skills, have strong business acumen with a strong focus on player development.

Spring development camp goes ahead as scheduled on April 14, 15, & 16th with guest on-ice development coach/evaluator, ex NHL/WHL player -  Brandon Nolan.**

The goal of the Wolverines is to fill the General Manager position in advance of naming a head coach and support staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong hockey background (coaching), have excellent business administrative skills, have a scouting and recruiting network, and demonstrate leadership with a strong focus on player development.
