The Melville Millionaires used a big 6 run 8th inning to help them cruise to a 15-2 victory over the Yorkton Cardinals on Thursday night in Western Canadian Baseball League action.
Evan Moore, Ryan Moormeyer and Cody Goggins had 3 hits each to lead the way offensively for the Mils while St. Louis product Luke Summers scattered 5 hits and 1 run over 6 innings to earn the win on the mound while striking out 6.
Tanner Huber had a couple hits for the Cards in the loss.
The two teams will meet once again on Friday night from Jubilee Park. Game time is at 7:05PM.
