Dec. 2nd SJHL/MJHL Scoreboard

MJHL:

STEELERS 5, STAMPEDERS 1

After a home victory on Friday, the Swan Valley Stampeders couldn't complete the perfect weekend after dropping a 6-1 decision to the Selkirk Steelers.

Jakob Jones opened the scoring 5 minutes into the 1st to give the home team an early lead before the Steelers scored six unanswered from Mathieu Moreira, Mathieu Catellier, Roco La Cara, Nick Giasson, Rhett Marchand, and Ethan Brown. 

Noel Olsonawski made 35 saves on 36 shots to get the win for Selkirk while Stamps' G Gage Stewart allowed 6 goals on 36 shots. 

Stampeders return to the ice on Tuesday night hosting The Blizzard at the Centennial Arena.

SJHL:

MILLIONAIRES 4, NORTH STARS 3 (OT) 

Euan Morrison scored his 2nd of night at 2:42 of overtime to lead the Melville Millionaires to a 4-3 comeback win over the Battlefords North Stars.

Kole Keen and Colby Ball also scored to power the third period comeback while William Dyke made 27 stops in the Mils net. 

Kian Bell, Brad Blake and Josh Medernach replied for the North Stars. 

The Millionaires return to action next Saturday visiting the Battlefords North Stars. 

Elsewhere, 

TERRIERS 4, ICE WOLVES 6

The Yorkton Terriers score four times in the 3rd to make it a one goal game but wasn't enough as they fell 6-4 on the road to the La Ronge Ice Wolves. 

Shaden Duliak led the way for Yorkton with 2 goals while Jeff Hammond and Cooper Algajer also scored. 

Ty McKay scored three times for La Ronge while Mason Bueckert, Jacon Hufty and Rylan Silzer had singles. 

The Terriers return to the ice on Tuesday night visiting the Humboldt Broncos.
