The Melville Millionaires have added some veteran experience & grit after completing a trade with the Nipawin Hawks.
The Millionaires have acquired 20 year old forward Joel Mabin from the Hawks in exchange for a player development fee.
Mabin is a veteran of 142 career Junior A games including 136 as Hawk, compiling 32 goals, 50 assists for 82 points.
So far in 26 games during the 2023/24 campaign, he has 6 goals, 11 assists for 17 points & accumulating 84 minutes in penalties.

DYKE NAMED SJHL GOALIE OF THE WEEK:
Surprisingly for the first time this year 20-year-old goaltender William Dyke of the Melville Millionaires is being recognized as Sasktel Goalie of the Week.
The veteran netminder was rock solid in between the pipes for the Mills who bounced back in Battlefords with a come from behind win over the North Stars.
Dyke has an 11-7 record on the season and is a big reason why the Mills have had so much success in the first half of the year.
