Eight rinks pre-qualify for 2024 Sasktel Tankard in Saskatoon
The 2024 SaskTel Tankard will be held in Saskatoon, January 30 – February 4, 2024, and 8 mens rinks have pre-qualified for the event.
Team McEwen (Nutana Curling Club, Saskatoon), Team Kleiter (Nutana Curling Club, Saskatoon), Team Knapp (Highland Curling Club, Regina), Team Kalthoff (Nutana Curling Club, Saskatoon) have qualified based on their Curling Canada CTRS Points, while qualifying from their Sask Curling Tour points include Team Laycock (Nutana Curling Club, Saskatoon), Team Jacobson (Nutana Curling Club, Saskatoon), Team Hartung (Nutana Curling Club, Saskatoon) and Team Bryden (Callie Curling Club, Regina).
Teams nine-twelve will qualify through the SaskTel Tankard Last Chance Event January 11-14, 2024 held
at the Prince Albert Curling Club. This will be a 17 team triple-knockout event.
These twelve teams will compete at the Nutana Curling Club in Saskatoon, January 30 – February 4, 2024
in Round Robin Play with 2 Pools of 6 with a four-team page-playoff.
The winner will represent Saskatchewan at the Montana’s Brier March 1-10, 2024, in Regina.
