These 4 local players who were born in 1997 will be competing at the 2012 Western Canadian Under 16 Challenge Cup hockey tournament this Thursday to Sunday in Calgary, Alberta as a member of Team Saskatchewan. The tournament comprises of the best 1997 born hockey players in Western Canada
Goalie: Matt Kustra- Yorkton (Notre Dame Midget AAA Hounds)Defenseman: Ethan Bear- Ochapowace (Yorkton Harvest)
Forwards: Rykr Cole- Moosomin (Moose Jaw Generals)
Drew Litwin- Wynyard (Tisdale Trojans)
Team Saskatchewan will open on Thursday against Team Manitoba at 3:30, against Team BC 11:30 on Friday , and then take on Team Alberta at 11:30 on Saturday. The Medal games will go on Sunday, with the Bronze going at 9:30 and the Gold medal game at 1:00
