All Junior A teams record victories on Saturday night

The Yorkton Terriers (10-3-0-1) snapped their 2 game losing streak with 4-3 shootout win over the Nipawin Hawks. Jeremy Johnson led the way with 2 goals and an assist plus the shootout winner, while Kailum Gervais got the other. Kale Thomson stopped 20 shots for the victory.

Next action on Tuesday when they host Estevan.

The Melville Millionaires (12-2-0-1) won their 6 in a row and continued ther regulation unbeaten streak to 10 games with a 3-2 shootout win in Melfort. TJ Reeve got the shootout winner plus a goal in regulation while Christian Magnus got the other. Alex Wakaluk stopped 32 shots for the victory.

The Mils will host Melfort on Tuesday.

While the Swan Valley Stampeders (8-4-1) stayed red hot extending their win streak to 6 games moving into 2nd place in the Sherwood with a big 6-3 victory over the OCN Blizzard. Colin Baudry led the way with a goal and 3 assists while Captain Dylan Reimer had 2 and Riley Hiebert, Justin Valentino and Bryce Enns got the others. Landon Noel remains unbeaten his 5th win in a row in net stopping 31 saves.

In Winkler, David Haaf got the OT winner as the Way Way Wolverines (6-8-2) beat the Winkler Flyers. JJ Cruikshank, Brett Lafond and Brendan Luchinski got the other Wolves goals.
