The Yorkton Terriers (7-1-0-1) were able to hand the Flin Flon Bombers (8-1-0-0) their first loss of the young SJHL season with a 4-2 home victory. Veteran forward Zak Majkowski (pictured left) led the way for the Terriers with 2 goals (including one short handed) and 1 assist, while line mate Tayler Thompson who had his best game of the season chipped in with 3 helpers. Dayan Gatzke and Kailum Gervais also chipped with goals for Yorkton, who got a 30 save performance from goalie Kale Thomson who was solid in the net again . Dillion McCombie and Brett Penner replied for the Bombers and Devin Buffalo stopped 34 for Flin Flo to take the loss.
The next action for the Yorkton Terriers will be Thursday when they visit the Melfort Mustangs 7:20/7:30 on GX94.
