Saturday night recap

The Swan Valley Stampeders made it 3 wins in a row as they beat the Steinbach Pistons 3-2 in a shootout. Riley Hiebert and Colin Baudry scored the Stamps' goals in regulation while Max Flanagan and Dylan Favell with the goals in shootout. Landon Noel got his 2nd straight win with 38 saves.

The Stamps finish off roadtrip tomorrow in Winnipeg against the Blues.

The Yorkton Terriers pull into sole possession of 1st place in the Sherwood with a 4-3 home ice over the La Ronge Ice wolves. Nathan Murray led the way with 2 goals for the Terriers. Patrick Martens and Brendon Poncelet had the others. Kale Thomson stopped 21 shots for the Win. The Terriers now have points in 8 straight games.

The Terriers will return to action on Tuesday when they start a road trip in Kindersley.

  1. Benny....has Neibrandt decided to scrap hockey for this year. I thought he would be in the Terriers line up by now if he was going to play.
