The Waywayseecappo Wolverines had their winning streak snapped at 4 games as they were shutout 3-0 by the hometown Neepawa Natives. Justin Dalebozik had 2 goals while Clarke Rempel had the other for the Natives who got a 36 save shutout performance from their backup Jeff Stallard who was solid in the Neepawa net and got his 1st win of the season. Wolves Cory Simons stopped 21 of 24 to take the loss. The Wolves controlled much of the play for most of the game, but just couldn't buy a goal tonight and they also ran into some penalty trouble late and the Natives capitalized with 2 Powerplay goals. The Wolverines record drops to 4-4-1 on the season good for 4th in the Sherwood.
The Wolverines next action will be on Wednesday night when they travel to Swan River to take on the Swan Calley Stampeders.
