They open up the period with a powerplay as Drake Bodie was johnny on the spot as he made mistake on the doorstep for his 2nd goal of the season off a Matt Miller point shot. Selkirt would even it up back this time at 2, when Eric Pushka who was the best player for the Steelers got his 2nd goal of the game on a powerplay of their own. But just 12 seconds later it was Way Way regaining their lead when David Haaf walked in from the right point and ripped it past Steelers goalie Jake Danson for his 5th goal of the season and it was 3-2. Then it was Wolves captian Curtis Veitch's turn to hit the scoresheet, he capitalized on a Selkirk turnover and went in on a shorthanded breakaway and made no mistake putting it short side for his 2nd of the season and that made it 4-2. Russell Turner would get the 5th Wolverines goal when his long shot from just out the blueline caught Danson off guard for his 7th of the season
