Terriers; Mils Both win on the road

The Yorkton Terriers got goals from 6 different players as they made it 3 wins in as many days defeating the hometown Estevan Bruins 6-1. 20-year old Jeremy Johnson opened the scoring ripping a dandy wrister over the shoulder of Curtis Martinu, his league tying 8th of the season. Derek Falloon, Patrick Martens, Tyler Giebel, Chase Norrish, and Zak Majkowski also scored for the Yorkton Terriers. Taylor Reich got the lone goal for the Bruins. Terriers goalie Conor Barrie stopped 25 of 26 shots for the victory before leaving with a lower body injury. Kale Thomson came in and stopped 5 shots in relief.

Elsewhere, Lucas Froese scored with 1:39 left in regulation to secure a 6-5 victory over the Weyburn Redwings. Ian McNulty (2), Michael Sagen, Sean Aschim and Landon Hall got the others for the Millionaires. Troy Trombley stopped 26 of 31 shots for his 2nd victory of the season.

These two teams will meet in the first installment of the Highway 10 rivalry on Friday in Yorkton. 7:20/ 7:30 on GX94
