The Melville Millionaires once again are in first place in the Viterra division as they defeated the team they are battling with the Weyburn Red Wings 3-2 on home ice last night.
Mils Captain Allen Kilback (pictured above), playing in his first game since Nov. 29th, banged home the game winner with 3:13 remaining while Dalton Menke and Keegan Milligan (1st as a Millionaire) also scored for Melville who now sit 2 points ahead of the Red Wings at 46 points with 1 game in hand.
Trevor Martin made 28 saves to net his 6th victory of the season.
Donovan Lumb and Aidan Teilborg scored for the Red Wings who got 30 saves from Jack Burgart in the loss.
Due to the Tankard taking over the Horizon Credit Union Center, the Mils will now play their next 5 games on the road starting tomorrow (Fri) when they visit the Battlefords North Stars at 7:30.
