Ahead of the Saturday's Trade deadline, the Swan Valley Stampeders have made a move and it involves one of their 20 year olds.
The Stamps have sent Co-Captain Jagger Thomas and futures to the Winkler Flyers (MJHL) for future considerations.
The Boissevain MB product played in 222 regular season and playoff games in a Stampeder uniform compiling 25 goals and 57 assists for 82 points over 3 and a half seasons in Swan Valley.
Thomas had 2 goals and 13 assists for 15 points in 35 games with the Stampeders this season.
**Best of luck to a good player but even a better guy headed off to Winkler. Jag was around when I first started the broadcasting career and he was always made himself available for a chat or conversation before games.
