Mils' Aschim commits to the CIS






The Melville Millionaires are pleased to announce that graduating forward Sean Aschim will continue his hockey career as he will suit up with the University of Saskatchewan Huskies of the CIS for the upcoming season.

The 20-year old Saskatoon native, had 22 goals and 31 assists for 53 points for the Millionaires this past season where they lost in the Sherwood Conference Final to the Yorkton Terriers.

He came over as the futures along with Jesse Mireau and Lee Christianson in the deal that sent Brayden Metz & Cody Hanson to the Melfort Mustangs.

Aschim also had stints with the Prince Albert Raiders, Moose Jaw Warriors, Seattle Thunderbirds and Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League.

Aschim will join brother Kyle on the Huskies this season.
