The Wayway Wolverines lost on home ice but managed to get a point as they lost 2-1 in the shootout to the Neepawa Natives.
George Spilchal (Way) and Brady Bouchard (Neep) had the goals for their respective clubs in regulation on Drake Lindsay had the shootout winner.
Brandon Holtby stopped 25 shots in the losing cause.
Wayway returns to action Sunday when they host the Winkler Flyers at 7:30.
