Stamps; Wolverines Win, Terriers lose on Friday Night

The Swan Valley Stampeders started their 3 game roady with a bang as they hammered the Selkirk a Steelers 5-1 on Friday night. 

Nick Kobelka led the way with 3 goals while Michael Fortin and Tristin Langan also chipped in with Stamps markers. 

Graham Hunt was once again fantastic stopping 38 shots for the win.

Swan Valley continues roady in Winkler on Saturday night. 

Also in the MJHL,

Robert Briem had 2 goals including the game winner in OT as Wayway defeated the OCN Blizzard 3-2. 

Neil Woolfrey had the other goal for the Wolverines while Mitch Wiebe turned aside 35 shots for the win in net.

Next action for the Wolverines will be Wednesday when they visit the Swan Valley Stampeders on GX94. 

The Yorkton Terriers losing streak is now 6 games as they dropped a 4-1 decision tonight to the La Ronge Ice Wolves. 

Dylan Baer had the lone goal for the Terriers in a losing cause. 

These two teams will go right back at it on Saturday afternoon .
