Saturday Night SJHL/MJHL Recap

The Yorkton Terriers sent 55 shots the way of Austin Rediron but they weren't able to get the 2 points as they dropped a 3-1 game to the La Ronge Ice Wolves. 

Riley Hunt had the lone goal for the Terriers who got a 24 save performance from Matt Kustra in the loss. 

The Terriers will look to snap their 7 game losing streak as they host Nipawin on Wednesday.



The Melville Millionaires put together a pretty solid effort but came up short dropping a 2-1 decision to Flin Flon. 

Former Bomber Dalton Menke had the only Mils goal while Troy Trombley kept his club in the game stopping 32 shots. 

The Mils will also take on the Nipawin Hawks on home ice Tuesday night at the HCUC. 

In the MJHL,

Tristan Langan had the lone goal as the Swan Valley Stampeders lost on their 2nd game of the 3 game roady, 4-1 to the Winkler Flyers. 

The Stamps will complete their roady on Sunday taking on Winnipeg at 6:30.
