Yorkton's Gramyk & Team Sask capture 2018 Football Canada Cup in Calgary




After winning three silver medals in a four-years, Team Saskatchewan has finally won Football Canada’s annual under-18 football championship.

Saskatchewan defeated Alberta 31-26 in Sunday’s gold-medal game in Calgary.
Saskatchewan had previously won the Football Canada Cup in 2009.

Yorkton product Fayden Gramyk of the Yorkton Raider Gridders was a member of Team Saskatchewan



Parkland Expos win Bantam AA Tier 2 Provincial Title

The Parkland Expos are Baseball Sask Provincial Champions.

The Expos comprising of players from the Yorkton, Melville and surrounding defeated the Muenster Red Sox 16-5 in the Gold Medal of the Bantam AA Tier 2 championship on Sunday from Macklin.

The Expos advanced to the finals after a 2-1 victory over the Swift Current 57s in the Semi-Finals.


Neudorf wins 2018 Tri-Highway Fastball League Title



For the first time in 12 years, the Neudorf Posse are Tri-Highway Fastball League Champions.

The Posse won their first title since with 2006 with a 18-4 victory over the Balcarres Bronx in Championship Final from Neudorf
