The Melville Millionaires improved their record to 3-3 on the young Western Canadian Baseball League season on Tuesday night after a 7-2 road victory over the Moose Jaw Miller Express (4-2).
San Diego product Chris Paruleski threw 6 shutout innings allowing just 4 hits, 1 walk while striking out 6 Express batters to earn the victory.
Kaiden Zacharias had a double and 2 RBIs to lead the way offensively for the Mils who go right back at it tonight (Wed) when they host the Weyburn Beavers at Pirie Field.
Meanwhile at Jubilee Park,
The Yorkton Cardinals (0-6) pounded out 14 hits but it wasn't enough as they committed 7 errors in a 12-7 home loss to the Swift Current 57's.
Six different Cardinals chipped in with 2 hits but a 5 run second and 3 run third inning paced the visitors to the victory.
The Cardinals are also back in action on Wednesday when they visit the Regina Red Sox with game time at 7:05 from Currie Field.
