Yorkton's Korczak; Roblin's Brook invited to Hockey Canada's Men's Summer U18 Selection Camp



Forty-four of the nation’s top under-18 hockey players have been invited to attend Canada’s National Men’s Summer Under-18 Team selection camp and among those selected includes Yorkton's Ryder Korczak and Roblin, MB's Jakob Brook.

Korczak just completed his first season in the WHL with the Calgary Hitmen where he had 15 points in 50 games.

He was then traded to the Moose Jaw Warriors in early May.

Meanwhile for Brook, he helped the Prince Albert Raiders capture the 2019 WHL Championship and earn a berth in the Memorial Cup in Halifax.

In 62 games, he had 6 goals 6 assists for 12 points


Former Yorkton Terrier Assistant General Manager Gord Pritchard has also been named to the Canadian staff for the event as Guest Director of Hockey Operations.

Pritchard spent 3 seasons with the Terriers helping them win the RBC Cup in 2014

The camp is set for July 26-30 at the Markin MacPhail Centre at WinSport’s Canada Olympic Park in Calgary.
