Jason Wallace (pictured above) had 3 hits while Noah Barron cranked out his 2nd home run of the season to lead the Yorkton Cardinals to their first win of the season, a 7-5 decision over the Moose Jaw Miller Express at Jubilee Park.
Big lefty Chris Maurin allowed just one run on two hits while striking out 9 Express batters to earn his first win of the season.
The Cardinals look for back to back wins when they visit the Weyburn Beavers on Friday night at 7:05
Meanwhile the Cards will also be holding "Minor Ball Day" on Saturday.

The Melville Millionaires dropped their 2nd straight losing 8-3 to the Weyburn Beavers at Pirie Field.
The Beavers used a 4 run 6th inning to power them to their 5th victory of the season.
The Mils will return to action tonight (Fri) when they visit the Swift Current 57's.
