Hockey Canada announced on Thursday morning, the 46 hopefuls that will participate in the Canadian Junior Selection Camp that will begin November 16th in a co-hort bubble in Red Deer, Alberta.
Among the participants announced include Yorkton's Kaedan Korczak.
Korczak had his 3rd season with the WHL's Kelowna Rockets cut short this past spring due to the pandemic, but in 60 games this past season he had 11 goals 38 assists for 49 points.
The players will participate in the month-long selection camp ahead of the 2021 World Junior Hockey Championships that will be held in a bubble-type format from Christmas Day until January 5th, 2021 in Edmonton, Alberta.
Prince Albert's Braden Schneider of the Brandon Wheat Kings and Saskatoon products Connor Zary (Kamloops Blazers) & Adam Beckman (Spokane Chiefs) were other Saskatchewan players selected while Manitoba players selected included Moose Jaw Warriors defenceman and Brandon, MB product Daemon Hunt and Winnipeg's Seth Jarvis of the Portland Winterhawks.
