YORKTON'S MAIER SIGNS AHL DEAL WITH LEHIGH VALLEY PHANTOMS 

The Lehigh Valley Phantoms have announced they have signed goaltender Nolan Maier to an one year-two way AHL contract.


The Yorkton product established a new WHL record with 122 career wins, all with the Saskatoon Blades.


He was the everyday goalie for the Saskatoon Blades in the Western Hockey League last season playing in 60 of the team's 68 games.


The Yorkton, SK native went 31-23-4 with a 2.82 goals-against average and .910 save percentage in 2021-22.

SWAN RIVER'S ARP TO RETURNS TO SWAN VALLEY STAMPEDERS (MJHL)

The Swan Valley Stampeders have been returned Swan River product and forward Steven Arp back from the WHL's Winnipeg ICE.

After he was picked up in a deal from the Medicine Hat Tigers, Arp scored twice and had one assist in four games with Winnipeg.

Over 54 WHL games including last season, Arp scored five times and added seven assists
