The Melville Millionaires are pleased to announce that graduating forward Jaxon Martens has committed to the Mount Royal University Cougars of USports starting in the Fall of 2023.
The Warman, Saskatchewan product joined the Moneymen on Jan. 9th/23 in a trade with the Flin Flon Bombers and he went on contribute 8 goals, 9 assists for 17 points in 22 games with the Millionaires to finish off his final season of Junior hockey with 46 points in 55 games combined with his time in Melville & Flin Flon.
During his 131 game SJHL career split between the Bombers and Millionaires, Martens scored 40 goals and added 63 assists for 103 points with only 16 minutes in penalties.
Martens becomes the 4th Millionaire to commit to College hockey for the 2023/24 season.
