Mils score 6 in the 3rd to beat Notre Dame 6-2

The Melville Millionaires scored 6 times in the third period to come all the way back to beat Notre Dame 6-2 on Tuesday night.

The 1st went scoreless with Mils having th best chances but Hounds goalie Brett Soles shut the door to keep 0-0 after 1.

The Hounds would get on the board though early in the 2nd as Sam Aulie would get his 1st of the season to give Hounds 1-0 lead. Then in the last minute of the 2nd Dylan McIntosh would give ND a 2-0 after 40 minutes.

The third period was a different Mils team as they would explode with 6 goals in the last frame with 6 different scorers. Tyson Predinchuk, Reed Murray, TJ Reeve, Dylan Ostertag, Colin Mospanchuk, and Eric Meyer scored for the Mils while Richard Palmer stopped 28 of 30 shots to improve to 3-0 on season.

Elsewhere in the SJHL,

The Yorkton Terriers won their 4th win in a row as they beat the Humboldt Broncos 3-1.

Kailum Gervais, Tayler Thompson and Jordan Ross (GWG) got the goals for the Terriers. Kale Thomson stopped 28 of 29 shots for his 4th straight victory. 

The Terriers next action Friday when they host the Melville Millionaires at the FAA. Pregame 7:20, play by play 7:30 on GX94.

Lone game in the MJHL,

Carter Johnson had both goals for the Swan Valley Stampeders as they fell 6-2 to the hometown OCN Blizzard.

Cole Holowenko let 5 goals in the 1st and then was replaced by Nathan Armstrong came in and stopped 27 of 28 shots In a losing cause.
