Tayler Thompson scored the OT winner 1:58 into the extra time on the PP as the Yorkton Terriers earned a split in the first Highway 10 battle with a 3-2 win over the Melville Millionaires on Saturday night.
Thompson also added 2 assists for the Terriers, while Tyler Giebel and Jordan Ross also scored for the Terriers. Landon Farrell and Alec Brandrup for the Mils.
The two teams are now tied atop of the Viterra Division with 12 points each.

The Swan Valley Stampeders got back on the win track as they defeated the Winkler Flyers 3-2 in overtime.
Nic Erb had a career night with his first MJ hat trick including the game winner for the Stamps.
Nathan Armstrong stopped 33 of 35 shots to the get the victory. The Stamps will go right back at on Sunday when they host the Steinbach Pistons at 4pm MB time at the Centennial Arena.
