Friday Night Recap

The Yorkton Terriers won their 3rd straight while giving their Highway 10 rivals the Melville Millionaires their 9th straight loss in the process as they beat the Mils 8-0 at the Farrell Agencies Arena. 

Tyler Baier got his 1st 2 SJHL goals in the process and also added an assist for the 3 point night. Adam Santoro also had 3 points (1G 2A) while Corwin Stevely had 2 goals and Carson Welke, Brandon Sookro & Shane Sherban got the others. 

Jakob Severson in his 2nd Terrier start, got his 1st SJHL shutout stopping all 23 shots he faced. Josh Bykowski took the loss, stopping 39 of 47 shots. 

The two teams will meet up on Saturday night at 7:30 from Melville's Horizon Credit Union Center.

The Wayway Wolverines were victorious on home ice tonight, 2-1 over the Virden Oil Capitals. 

Aaron Dupasquier & Riley Shamray scored powerplay goals for the Wolverines while Brandon Holtby stopped 21 shots for the win. 

Wayway next action will be on Saturday when they host the Dauphin Kings at 7:30PM Mb time from Wayway Arena Complex. 


Meanwhile the Swan Valley Stampeders dropped a 7-2 decision to the Steinbach Pistons on Friday night. 

Jordie Valentino scored both goals for the Stamps who visit the Portage Terriers on Saturday night.
