Terriers send Neibrandt to Portage (MJHL)


The Yorkton Terriers have traded 18 year old defenseman & Rhein, SK product Adam Neibrandt (pictured above) to the defending RBC Cup champion Portage Terriers of the MJHL for future considerations.

Neibrandt was pointless in 5 games with the Terriers this season.

Last season with SMAAAHL's Yorkton Maulers, in 44 games Neibrandt had 5 goals and 7 assists for 12 points.

Portage also picked up former Melville Millionaire Michael Knaub from the Flin Flon Bombers for futures.

The Melville Millionaires also made trade acquiring the rights to 17 year old F Riley Woods from the Estevan Bruins for the rights to 20 year old D Tyler King.

Woods is currently with the WHL's Regina Pats where has compiled 2 goals and 4 points in 9 games this season.

King, a Pilot Butte product is currently on the WHL injured reserve list with the Kootenay but last year with the Ice he had 8 goals and 37 points in 68 games.
